Launched in 2017, New York Works aimed to create 100,000 good-paying jobs by 2027. Building off of the excitement of the original printed report for the hefty 10-year plan, these PDF updates and addendum simplify key graphic elements, focusing on the data behind the progress of each initiative.

By building a structure for each type of content, I was able to work fluidly with the team, creating draft layouts while content was in flux. Despite a quickly moving target, the end result was unified and easy to navigate. The yellow breakers indicate the start of each "Category of city action"; blue blocks call out job or business spotlights; each section ends with a full page table detailing the number of good-paying jobs created by each catalyst.
An addendum to the 2019 report was released in January 2020 which provided additional information about Financing and Tax Incentives.
Released during the height of the pandemic, the 2020 progress report touched on the progress made by each City Action as broken down in previous reports (exceeding the goals for the first 4 years), and quickly shifted in order to address the rapidly changing economy and recovery efforts.
